Wall Sawing Services

Every day, project managers, builders, and renovation specialists find themselves facing hard construction materials (like concrete, brick and block) that need to be modified or repaired on a vertical or angled plane. Vertical or horizontal modifications require a special piece of equipment called a wall saw. At Demolition Specialist, Inc., we’ve spent years dealing with all types of wall sawing needs for projects big and small. We have top notch specialized equipment and a highly skilled, trained, and dedicated staff for all of your wall sawing needs, whether residential, commercial, or industrial.

Vertical, horizontal or angled surfaces present a unique set of challenges primarily due to elevation and gravity. Without proper equipment, proper training, and proper safety precautions in place, wall sawing can go terribly wrong.

A wall saw uses a similar type of diamond segmented blades that the flat saw does. The wall saw is operated with a wired remote control, with a high frequency motor powered by 480 volts that optimize the most power of the unit, the blade on the wall saw works in conjunction with a track system to safely and efficiently keep the blade properly aligned during use. The wall saw track is attached to the wall with drop in anchors; the track guidance allows the operator to make efficient, precise cuts that are not possible using a saw guided by hand eye coordination.

Although it may be tempting to make vertical or angled cuts using a hand guided saw in order to cut down on time and money spent on a project, this can lead to several serious problems. Foremost, it greatly increases the risk of workplace injury by eliminating any safety measures necessary when making vertical cuts. You may also find that you end up with inaccurate cuts that no longer meet your building specifications or government mandated codes or safety requirements.

Wall saws serve many purposes including:

  • cutting window openings
  • cutting door openings
  • cutting for new dock pits
  • making existing door and window openings larger
  • making flush cuts
  • making vent openings
  • creating openings for overhead doors
  • modifying existing walls
  • making the openings for vault installations or cutting for new vault lids
  • making openings for staircases and elevators
  • making openings for ductworks

At Demolition Specialist, Inc., we have years of experience and training in wall sawing. We offer top notch customer service and quality of work. Our knowledgeable and dedicated staff can meet all of your wall sawing needs on time and within budget. No project is too big or too small.
